2020 was a year of change and lessons for our country. The healthcare industry took a big toll on how things were changed, and precautions need to be taken for our safety. Thanks to our health care department, we were able to be safe during uncertain times.

Improving Technology

The pandemic helped us evaluate new and improved technology that will help us stay safe and give us the things we need to get better. Hospitals have been updated to new protocols in technology for changing their doctor visits to just telegram visits.

Virtual care became very effective helping people stay healthy and continue to see doctors instead of going in person. High quality care was provided all around the United States to ensure that everyone was staying safe during the pandemic.

There are many lessons we got to learn during the pandemic this past year and how to adapt with everything changing around us.

Challenges we experienced

Our country faced many challenges in the crisis we faced. We had to increase in a lot of demand care and adapt to new technologies to help us stay safe.  Having quarantine was a new thing for everyone to adapt to. Having to stay home every day until the isolation was lifted. There were a lot of limited resources, and everything was getting way to expensive.

There were a lot of hospital visits in this last year. About 1,750,00 people were diagnosed with covid-19. Our older population was decreasing because of the amounts of deaths there were for older people. Our healthcare. Providers were under a lot of pressure during this uncertain time.

The healthcare department had to come up with new and improved strategies to improve resources for patients.
