National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is here which means it is national Breast Cancer Awareness month. It is an annual awareness very recognized by the United States as many women across the globe have suffered from breast cancer.
This awareness gives a huge impact, and many organizations raise funds for this annual campaign every year!

Early detection for breast cancer
Breast cancer awareness month is to help bring awareness for women around the world suffering or who have suffered from breast cancer. This cancer is most common in America, and there are early signs that women should notice before it’s too late.
It is important to get your yearly checkup for women’s exams to help reduce the chances.
Having a healthy diet and exercising can also help reduce with breast cancer as well as other disease follow up due to aging.
Quit smoking! Smoking is another thing women don’t notice that smoking is a risk factor to breast and other part of the body.
Checking your genetics to see if it runs in the family to see if you are more at risks.
History behind breast cancer
There are many women who suffer from breast cancer. About 40% of death rate has declined from 1989 to 2016 and continue to still make a lot of progress in keeping women healthy and cured from breast cancer.
There are 4 stages of breast cancer, and each helps indicate treatment needed and procedures to help decrease the cancer.
Stage 1 helps indicate the size of the tumor and recognize the cell. Stage 2 means that tumor has grown. Stage 3 means the tumor has increased size throughout the entire breast and surrounded areas. Stage 4 is when cancer has spread through the entire body and other organs.
How to help spread awareness
Being well informed of breast cancer awareness and participating in local events and organizations will help you become more knowledgeable.
Encourage loved ones and friends to get checked and as always share awareness through social media throughout the month!
