What is NHCW

National health center week is a celebration in which all health care providers raise awareness for everything they have accomplished through that certain time. For us this year it may be how far we have gotten throughout the terrifying pandemic.

NHCW honors everyone within the healthcare department, such as doctors, nurses, staff, social workers, and more.

Recognizing the hard work, they have done for everyone this year and remembering those who were died during the pandemic.

Our health centers provide a lot of quality care to all patients around the country. Making it easier to access health care providers and helping everyone stay safe during Covid-19.

Every health center has contributed in any way they can and has help enormous amount of people.

History behind NHCW

In 1965 the very first health centers opened their doors. The local and state of health department has grown a lot since. Now there’s about 24 million American health care providers in the U.S

The health center program has grown to about 1,400 health centers and about 11,000 facilities in the United States.

Participating in this week’s NHCW is important to be involved show to the community how grateful we are as American and how far everyone has come from this pandemic.

Every health care department celebrates NHCW different. They form a plan for the week for everyone to follow and celebrate.

The goals for NHCW

The overall goals in celebrating NHCW is to spread awareness across the United States on the importance of our health care department. Celebrating all health centers and long-term funding that has happened through this year.
